Job Description
Carronhill School is a Complex Needs Provision, serving South Aberdeenshire pupils aged 5-18 years old who are predominately working at Pre-Early Level. The preferred candidate will have an inquisitive mind and will be able to look inwards and outwards at their own and others’ practiceThey will have experience of working with pupils with additional support needs and be able to work as part of a close knit team being guided in assisting in educational experiences by a class teacher. Working with pupils aged 5-18 years old, the successful candidate will be able to support in learning, manual handling and intimate care.

This is a Children's Service Network (CSN) post. Initially you will be based at Carronhill School, but you may be required to work elsewhere within the Stonehaven CSN.
Working Pattern: Friday Term Time

Requirements
This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
