Job Description

We are currently recruiting a reliable and flexible Relief Facilities Operative to support our operations in the Peterhead area. This is a zero-hours position, providing cover for staff sickness, absences, and additional workload as required.
The role will involve a variety of facilities-related duties, so candidates must be physically fit and capable of carrying out manual tasks.
Key requirements:
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Comfortable working as part of a team when required
Physically fit and able to undertake a range of operational duties
Flexible approach to working hours, including short-notice cover
Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic

Requirements

This post has a minimum requirement of one reference, which must be your current or most recent employer.

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

A full valid driving licence and access to a car is required for this position.
