Job Description

The postholder will be responsible for taking a lead role in working with adults, families, service providers and social work teams to achieve Aberdeenshire's  HSCP aims around outcomes focussed commissioning.   The role will lead practice to ensure a consistent approach to supported living services' transition from ‘time and task’ model support to commissioning for outcomes and weekly budgets.  

Provide day-to-day support to a team of professionals and support staff by contributing to the assessment of complex needs and service requirements, managing service delivery and contributing directly to the development and improvement of service provision to vulnerable adults, their families and carers

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

This post is fixed Term until 11/10/2026

Requirements

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where applicable, this post also requires an Overseas Criminal Record Check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
