Job Description

Fraserburgh Children and Families Team is a brilliant team to work for, although a big and busy team everyone steps in and supports one another unconditionally emotionally or practically. Becoming Senior Practitioner in our team comes with many roles including sharing the role alongside the other Senior Practitioner within our team, supervising Family Support Workers as well as supporting the Team Managers. You will have access to attend Senior Practitioner forums where you get to share your experience with fellow colleagues across other Children and Families Team and explore opportunities for enhancing our service as a whole.

We welcome you to consider joining our team.

Provide a professional social work service to children, families, individuals and groups within current legislation, policies and procedures of Aberdeenshire Council through working in partnership with service users, other professionals and agencies within the wider community.

Enhance the work of the team through supporting the Team Manager in terms of managing day to day operational business when required, supporting team members in case management through mentoring, consultation and direct supervision and promoting continuous service development.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
