Job Description
Come and join a supportive and welcoming Children & Families team in Fraserburgh, where you will make a meaningful difference to children, young people and families. Within our team we have 2 Team Managers, 2 Senior Practitioners, 11 Social Workers, 9 Family Support Workers and 2 Children’s Support Co-ordinators.
You will be part of a collaborative team with a strong ethos of supporting one another, alongside regular supervision and gaining a wide variety of experience, knowledge and skills. The role offers a varied and rewarding workload across child protection, looked-after children, and early intervention, working closely with multi-agency partners, permanence and Children with disabilities.

Requirements
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where applicable, this post also requires an Overseas Criminal Record Check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
This post has a minimum requirement of two references which must be your current or most recent employer.
