Strategic Town Centres Executive

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to lead Aberdeenshire's town centres work and make a difference to our fantastic and diverse towns.  The post involves taking forward our award winning Town Centres First Policy, the Aberdeenshire Loves Local Gift Card, and our dedicated work in priority town centres to tackle difficulties and invest in opportunities. You will demonstrate creative thinking, problem solving and project management, the ability to support diverse stakeholders across communities and business, and to apply systems thinking as we help to create thriving, diverse and resilient local economies.  You will join a diverse, skilled and empowered team, focussed on Aberdeenshire's places, and be responsible for a small team of project officers to deliver great results.  Evening and weekend work will be required.
