Job Description

Meet the care and support needs of service users and enable them to progress towards maximum independence through group and one-to-one work in day services, projects, community and home settings.

The candidate’s primary base will be Robertson Road, Fraserburgh. They will also be required to work from our satellite bases in Crimond and Banff as service needs arise. In addition, the role includes supporting individuals within the local communities of Peterhead, Fraserburgh and Banff, as well as providing care at home to people participating in our day service programme.

1 post for 3 days per week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 0845-1530 hours (20.25 hours per week)

1 post for 3 days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 0845-1530 hours (20.25 hours per week)

2 posts for 4 days per week, Monday-Thursday, from 0845-1530 hours (27 hours per week for each post)

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Requirements

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

This post has a minimum requirement of one reference, which must be your current or most recent employer.
