Waste Management Supervisor - Collections & Cleansing

Job Description

The purpose of the waste service is to provide an efficient and effective service with a first class reputation, keeping Aberdeenshire clean and safe, delighting our customers, recycling more and landfilling less every year.

To work as part of a team to ensure that all Refuse and Recycling Collections and Street Cleansing Services are carried out in an efficient and effective manner. Oversee the day-to-day operation of all services which includes all personnel, vehicles, plant, and equipment.

This post participates in a shift rota to cover business hours and the days of work will vary according to the needs of the service. Public holiday working may be required.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
