Job Description
Co-ordinate and ensure the provision of quality work placements for all S4 – S6 pupils within defined establishments.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
We are looking for a Work Placement Co-ordinator - full-time (36.50 hours) - to provide efficient and effective support to deliver work placements, including the Council’s Foundation Apprentice programme.
The post will be hybrid and can potentially be based in one of the Council offices. The post holder will be required to develop and maintain effective partnerships with employers and schools to enable work-related learning and placements including any work placement to meet the requirements of the Foundation Apprenticeship programmes, update and maintain the work placement database (WorkIT) and assist the Foundation Apprenticeship Team with tasks such as data input and other administration roles as required.
