Aberdeenshire Council’s Cultural Services is delighted to offer this opportunity to join the team at an exciting time of development.  As a result of a recent review of the Arts & Heritage team we are looking to recruit creative, passionate, forward thinking team players to help drive the service forward and to deliver on our ambitious plans for Cultural provision in the North East of Scotland.

The post of Customer & Commercial Services Officer is responsible for the efficient and productive delivery of the Service’s front of house operations. This includes customer engagement and audience development, activities, venue hire, box office, retail and performance monitoring.

As a key member of the team, you will have line management responsibility for a small team of Museum front of house staff and lead excellent customer service while operating the highest health and safety standards. The post is based at Museum services HQ in Mintlaw and is line managed by the Museums Development Coordinator

The post holder must be flexible and have experience of working in cultural or hospitality sectors in an operational context in the fields of performing arts, museums or event management, including health and safety and customer care.
