At Live Life Aberdeenshire we have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Relief Leisure Assistant at the Deveron & Macduff Community &; Sports Centres. There is a requirement to hold an RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Qualification but don’t worry if you don’t have one as we can support your training. We also support opportunities to progress your career whether you wish to be a gym instructor, group exercise instructor, personal trainer or duty officer. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to deliver a high standard of customer service and ensure an enjoyable and safe experience for our customers.

Deliver the safe operation of recreational facilities, including swimming pools within a defined geographical area, by assisting the Duty Officer in the development and improvement of all service areas and providing a high standard of customer relations.

There is a requirement to undertake manual handling on a daily basis. There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
