Job Description

We’re hiring a swimming instructor to join our team at Banchory Sports Village. If you have experience teaching swimming lessons and love working with people of all ages, this could be the perfect job for you.

We are looking for an enthusiastic instructor to conduct swimming lessons for all ages and ensure the safety for all swimmers. The instructor should provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help progress all swimmers.

We are looking for instructors that hold the SSTQ or level 1 equivalent qualification and to teach lessons on Tuesday and Wednesday evening between 4-6pm every week.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

4 hour per week in the evening between 4-6pm over two evenings.

Looking for teachers that hold the SSTQ or level 1 equivalent qualification.

Someone comfortable working with preschool ages children all the way to adults.

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
