About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Exhibition Assistant to help refresh selected permanent displays at Montrose Museum and the Meffan Museum & Art Gallery. You’ll play a key role in delivering inclusive, engaging, and high-quality permanent exhibitions that reflect diverse community perspectives and bring our collections to life.
What You’ll Do
- Support gallery design and layout, and develop interpretation materials for public engagement.
- Organise and deliver public consultation events, including workshops and drop-in sessions.
- Draft accessible gallery text and labels, ensuring materials are inclusive and engaging.
- Maintain clear records of feedback, help integrate public input, and support collections care.
- Contribute to excellent customer experiences and promote ANGUSalive’s services and commercial opportunities.
- Assist with facilities and health & safety duties, including building security and reporting issues.

This job is temporary for up to 12 months from date of appointment.
