Based at Meffan Museum, 20 West High Street, Forfar.

Do you enjoy practical, hands-on work and have an interest in museums, galleries, exhibitions or heritage?

ANGUSalive is looking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Exhibition Technicians on a supply basis to support the installation, maintenance and de-installation of exhibitions across our museums, galleries and community venues throughout Angus.

Working as part of our Museums, Galleries & Archives team, you will assist with the safe handling, transportation and display of artworks, museum objects and exhibition materials. You will also help maintain exhibition spaces, undertake basic repairs and support the delivery of high-quality visitor experiences.

About the Role - Key responsibilities include:

Installing and de-installing museum, gallery, and visual art exhibitions
Safely unpacking, packing and transporting artworks and collection objects
Moving display cases, exhibition panels and related equipment
Carrying out general maintenance tasks, including painting, cleaning, basic carpentry and exhibition lighting adjustments
Maintaining clean, welcoming and professional exhibition environments
Working safely in accordance with health and safety procedures

Have good awareness of health and safety procedures
Understand safe manual handling practices
Can act as a positive ambassador for ANGUSalive
