Job Description

Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.

This job is workstyle 4 - Flexi.

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations, working from council buildings, working in service user’s locations and site visits and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

You will be required to progress projects at inception, construction, and completion stages with specific responsibility for carrying pre-works property inspection, agreement and recording of extent of works, inspecting works as they progress and upon completion.

In addition, you will also record and report works quality ensuring remedial works have been carried out, carry out reactive maintenance inspections, prepare remedial works specifications and works instructions and raise orders, check invoices and ensure value for money.

You will support the Senior Maintenance Technician to ensure a high standard of work is achieved and contribute towards the section’s objectives of delivering a quality service.
