Job Description

Based at Seaton Grove, Seaton Road, Arbroath.

This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed.

In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.

You will be responsible for all activities in a larger kitchen and its surrounds connected with the provision of catering services.

Duties will include provision of food, including menu planning and portion control as well as food preparation and cooking and the organisation and supervision of food service.

You will be required to supervise other employees and will be responsible for the control of hygiene, health and safety and security of the kitchen and its surrounds, ensuring equipment is maintained. In addition, you will be responsible for stock control, ordering supplies and recording of temperatures etc.

This job is temporary for up to 6 months from date of appointment.
