Job Description
Based at Bruce House, Wellgate, Arbroath.
This job is workstyle 5 - Hybrid+.
You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
You will primarily deal with housing benefit overpayment recovery along with council tax, council tax reduction, housing benefit, discretionary housing payments, Scottish Welfare fund, educational benefits and financial assessment enquiries both face to face, online and by telephone.
You may also be required to process council tax reduction and housing benefit applications, changes of circumstances and applications for discretionary housing payments, educational benefits, Scottish Welfare fund and financial assessments.
Duties may also require you to administer the billing and redemption of council tax.
This job is temporary for up to 12 months from date of appointment.
Internal and external applications on a secondment basis will be considered. You must have the approval of your line manager / organisation.
