Job Description
Based at Kinloch Care Centre, Carnoustie.
This job is workstyle1 - Fixed.
In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.
You will be part of a team supporting individuals to attend a day over care service over a seven day period. You will be responsible for the safe transportation of service users to and from the centre and for undertaking other duties commensurate with the safety of passengers and vehicles within your charge.
You will be required to communicate with service users and families/carers, liaise with centre staff and other agencies.
You will be required to drive minibuses and accessible vehicles and undertake routine weekly/monthly maintenance of the bus (ie check water/oil/tyres etc) and associated paperwork.
You may, on occasion be required to work additional hours to cover for absences.
This role will be undertaken as a split shift, there will be hours in the morning and then again in the afternoon.
