Job Description

Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.

This job is workstyle 5 - Hybrid

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

Make a real difference in how our communities grow.

Our planning service is expanding, and we’re seeking someone who cares about good development and the character of our towns, villages and landscapes. As a Planning Enforcement Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact when things don’t go to plan — helping resolve issues fairly, quickly and professionally.

You don’t need to know everything on day one — what matters most is good judgement, clear communication and a willingness to learn. If you enjoy a job where no two days look the same, you’ll feel right at home here.

Please note interviews will be held Monday, 29 and Tuesday, 30 June 2026.
