Job Description

Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.

This job is Workstyle 5 – Hybrid+

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

An exciting opportunity exists to become part of a team within the Digital Enablement and IT service, responsible for developing and supporting the council’s NEC Housing management system. This post will assist in the provision of development, implementation, administration, ongoing support and training.

The role requires an understanding of data and business system administration, and how to develop systems capability in line with digital process reviews as well as provide quality customer service and training/support for day-to-day operations.

You will support and develop business systems that are fit for purpose and enable information provision and processes which support the council’s objectives. This job will provide a support service and improvement arrangements for our NEC Housing Management Software and other associated applications by engaging with customer and suppliers to plan and deploy system upgrades and capitalise on improvements.

This job is temporary until no later than 20 August 2028.
