Job Description
Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.
This job is workstyle 4 - Hybrid
You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations, working from council buildings, working in service user’s locations and site visits and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
We are looking for a motivational leader to manage our Business and Customer Support team of over 150 people, providing support across the council and to service users.
Working with an experienced, supportive team, you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage and develop the Business and Customer Support team, in a heavily networked environment.
- Maintain and improve our customer focused culture.
- Improve systems, processes and plans to help us provide the most efficient and effective support we can.
- Manage budgets and performance.
- Present your work to senior leaders through reports and presentation.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation and with partners.

This role benefits from a flexible, hybrid approach to work. Our experience is that the role holder will need to work from an office approximately two days per week. Sometimes this is across the week, other times two whole days or more.
Travel across sites will be required.
