This supply post will be in the Monifieth cluster area.

This job is workstyle 2a - Fixed

In this workstyle, you will have a guaranteed fixed desk, for example, for equality act (formerly DDA), health and safety or technical reasons.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated supply string instructor to join our team of instrumental music education specialists in Angus.

Responsibilities include teaching a range of string instruments to pupils of varying ages and stages, from P6 beginners through to S6 pupils wishing to audition for music college.

We are looking for a string specialist that can encourage and lead pupil engagement in solo and ensemble playing, participation in school, regional and national music groups, local music festivals, participation in external performance exams (ABRSM/Trinity College London etc.), and to convey the joy and importance of music as part of life-long learning.

Requirements

You must have the ability to become a member of the PVG Scheme.
