Job Description
Based at Angus House, Forfar, DD8 1AN
This job is workstyle 5 - Hybrid
In this workstyle most of your work activity (80%) can be carried out at home or from another location. Approximately 20% of your working time could be spent at an office desk. Additional time may be spent when required in a council building using bookable spaces for collaborative working, meetings, training and mentoring purposes.
You will work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Working with other quality improvement managers and service leaders, you will provide strategic leadership and management for the development and delivery of a 2-18 curriculum in Angus Schools and quality assure the effective provision of education. You will provide advice, support and challenge to Angus Council ELC settings and Contracted Providers of ELC on the process of continuous improvement, staff and curriculum development and all aspects of ELC management.
You will set direction for Early Learning and; engage, motivate and inspire others; drive the transformational change agenda; give a sense of purpose; and role model the Angus Council values. You will provide effective and visible leadership and innovatively manage the Early Years service to secure and sustain the necessary changes in culture and practice to ensure that these services perform well and in line with corporate/directorate aims, goals and objectives.

Requirements
You must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland.
You must have the ability to become a member of the PVG Scheme.
A full current driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
