Job Description
Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.
This job is workstyle 5 - Hybrid
You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
As a member of an integrated and interdisciplinary team you will work collaboratively with schools, ELC Centres, partners and each other to deliver targeted improvement and interventions for excellence and equity.
You will support collaboration within and across early years, identify innovative and excellent practice and connect professionals to share learning. You will work with Angus Schools to inform system change and continuous improvement.
You will provide effective and visible leadership and innovatively manage teams to support in securing and sustaining the necessary changes in culture and practice to ensure that these teams perform well and in line with corporate/directorate/service aims, goals and objectives.
You will set direction for allocated areas of responsibility; engage, motivate and inspire others; give a sense of purpose and role model the Angus Council values.
You must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland.
A full current driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
