Job Description

Based at Bruce House, Wellgate, Arbroath.

This job is workstyle 5 - Hybrid

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

As a Regeneration Officer with Angus Council, you will play a central role in delivering the Pride in Place Programme (PiPP) for Arbroath and supporting the wider work of the Arbroath Board. This is a pivotal position at the heart of Arbroath’s regeneration journey, helping to drive forward projects that strengthen the town’s economy, enhance public spaces, and improve outcomes for local communities.

You will coordinate the day‑to‑day delivery of the programme, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and clear progress against agreed outcomes. This includes tracking project milestones and spend, gathering evidence, and preparing high‑quality reports for government, partners, and internal stakeholders.

You’ll support commissioning, procurement, and competitive grant processes, and help develop practical management tools that keep delivery on track and highlight risks early.

Building strong relationships will be key — you’ll work closely with partners, community organisations, and internal teams to ensure projects are collaborative, well‑designed, and aligned with long‑term regeneration ambitions for Arbroath and the wider Angus area.

Alongside your work in Arbroath, you’ll contribute to regeneration activity across Angus, supporting the development and delivery of town centre and regeneration initiatives and projects that help shape the future of communities throughout the region.

Please note that the role will involve some evening and weekend working.

Please note interviews will be held - to be confirmed.
