Job Description

Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.

This job is workstyle 5 - Flexi.

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

You will be part of a busy team who provide a Roads Asset maintenance Service to the council in a changing and challenging time. You will support the Manager for Roads Assets in working within their team and specifically with the Team Leader for Roads Operations.

You will work with the team to assist in the provision of all Roads Asset functions including : Roads Safety Inspections, Roads Maintenance Estimating and Design (including for footpath, carriageway and drainage works), Roads Maintenance Supervision for any scheme works (footpath, carriageway and drainage) as well as all necessary financial and performance monitoring and reporting.

The role will also routinely work closely and collaboratively with our Flooding and Structures Team.
