Job Description

Based at Arbroath Academy you will join a friendly team in an integral role as a School and Pupil Support Assistant. You role will be to support pupils throughout the school in a variety of ways including in-class support as directed by the Principal Teacher, Support for Learning/Classroom Teachers, social time supervision in school and out in the pupils' playgrounds. You will work on a one-to-one and with small groups in our support bases providing additional support to our pupils, including personal and medical care.

We need someone who has a positive disposition and the ability to work as part of our team. We would like the successful candidate to display our school values of care, commitment, ambition and respect.

This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed

In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.
