Job Description

Based at Arbroath Academy, Glenisla Drive, Arbroath.

Working either:

25 hours per week, term time only, (195 days per annum) - this position is temporary until no later than 4 August 2026;

or

32.5 hours per week, term time only, (195 days per annum) - this position is permanent.

You will work directly with children and young people with a range of additional support needs in mainstream and resourced base provision. You will support children with their learning targets through developing positive and supportive relationships.

In addition, you will undertake a range of duties including supervising and assisting children, according to their needs, throughout the school day. You may be required, under the direction of the teacher, to prepare classroom resources and activities to support learning.

Internal and external applications on a secondment basis will be considered. You must have the approval of your line manager.
