An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Practitioner to join our Localities Team based in Forfar.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated practitioner to support the delivery of high-quality social work services for children, young people and families across Angus.
The Localities Team is made up of Social Workers and Family Support Workers who work collaboratively to provide support, intervention and protection to children and families.
As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing professional leadership, guidance and support to team members, ensuring effective assessment, planning and intervention in line with legislation, policy and best practice.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing complex cases and contributing to risk assessment and decision-making.
• Promoting positive outcomes for children, young people and families.
• Ensuring high standards of practice, recording and case management.
• Working collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver coordinated support.
• Supporting and mentoring Social Workers and Family Support Workers.
• Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about supporting teams, improving outcomes for families, and leading high-quality practice within a busy and supportive Localities Team.
