Job Description

Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.

Angus Council and Dundee City Council are looking for a visionary Service Leader – Internal Audit to strengthen governance, risk management, and internal controls across two ambitious local authorities.

This is a unique opportunity to influence public service delivery, ensuring transparency, accountability, and value for money for our communities. You’ll lead internal audit and counter-fraud teams, provide independent assurance, and drive innovation and continuous improvement.

This job is Workstyle 5. You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
