Job Description

Based at Bruce House, Wellgate, Arbroath, DD11 3TL.

This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed.

In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.

Working across angus you will contribute to the implementation of person-centred care for individuals by following support plan activities to people within their own home.

This will include a range of personal/physical care tasks such as washing, dressing, eating, toileting, administration of medication, and any other tasks in accordance with the individuals care plan. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, provide feedback and contribute to reviews.

You will be required to observe the health and wellbeing of individuals with specific health conditions and record and report any changes. You should hold an SCQF Level 6 in Health & Social Care, or a willingness to undertake and achieve this within an agreed timescale. The role involves evening and weekend working.
