Job Description

Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.

This job is workstyle 5.

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader- Resilience.

We are looking for someone to implement an integrated resilience approach, which embraces the management of hazard and risk analysis, emergency management, business continuity, and the wider resilience agenda locally and nationally ensuring the Council complies with its statutory responsibilities under civil contingencies and all other relevant legislation.

The team leader will support and contribute to the Council’s corporate response to emergencies and major and/or critical incidents and to act as the Council’s principal officer in respect of resilience, civil contingencies and emergency management.

This job is temporary until no later than 30 September 2025.

Internal and external applications on a secondment basis will be considered. You must have the approval of your line manager / organisation.
