Based at either Kinloch Care Centre, 141 Kinloch Street, Carnoustie, or County Buildings, Market Street Forfar.
Telecare Technician supporting Angus Health and Care Partnership’s Community Alarm Service.
This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed
In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.
Responsibilities include installing, programming digital telecare equipment such as smoke and heat sensors and alarm units in clients’ homes. Duties also involve routine maintenance, replacing faulty devices, removing equipment when no longer required, and maintaining accurate stock records.
The role requires strong technical proficiency and the ability to support training activities.
