The Social Work Admin Service delivers administrative support to front line Social Work teams within the Argyll and Bute HSCP.

Requirements
We have a full time, permanent Area Senior Admin Support Worker vacancy within our Children and Families Area Team based in Oban which is ideally suited to someone with good organisational, IT and admin skills. This position will be office based at our Soroba Road complex.
This position will, as part of the local admin team, oversee the provision of high-quality admin support to the local Social Work Team, Health Visitors and School Nurses who deliver agreed outcomes for local families.
The main responsibilities of the Area Senior Admin Support Worker role include oversight of:
- The Area Admin Team workloads and prioritisation of tasks
- Minute taking and meeting support
- Team Email mailbox enquiries
- Financial and budget processes and information
- Staff induction
Candidates for the Area Senior Admin Support Worker role require to have:
- A good basic education
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office applications
- Experience of office administration
- Understanding of confidentiality and data security
- An internal system check undertaken in order to access Social Work databases. A PVG check may also be required where there is regular contact with families.
