We welcome applications from highly experienced children and families practitioners to join our Care Assessment and Reviewing Officer Team within  Argyll & Bute.

Our review team ensures the best outcomes for children and young people who require child protection intervention and those who are care experienced.

Our reviewing officers provide independent chairing and review mechanisms for the plans of our children and young people.

In this role, our reviewers work with relevant partners to achieve the best outcomes for our children and their families.

Our reviewing officer also provides a quality assurance role by audit activity and contribution to improving practice.

The service is delivered on a locality basis and some travel will be required.

Social Qualification is required

Registration with SSC is required

You must have experience and an in depth knowledge of working with children who are Care Experienced and Child Protection practice.

Experience of chairing complex meetings.

Due to the geography of Argyll & Bute a driving licence is essential.
