Exciting opportunity has arisen to work within a small but busy island adult care social work team. The team predominantly provides adult assessment of need and statutory obligations to ensure health safety and wellbeing of older adults and those with disability. The team supports hospital discharge planning and operates a social work duty rota. The team collaborates with a number of agencies and stakeholders including extended community care teams.

A suitable candidate with experience of working in adult care social work or looking to make a transfer from children’s services both greatly received. Good communication, enthusiasm and innovation are required as is a desire to work in a rural island location.
