Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a varied and rewarding part-time Employee Relations role?

We have an exciting temporary opportunity for a part-time (17.5 hours per week) Employee Relations Adviser to join our busy ER Team.

About the role:

You will provide practical, professional advice and support to managers and employees across a broad range of matters, including discipline, grievance, performance management and reward, TUPE, organisational change, job evaluation, absence management and conditions of service.

You will also undertake fact-finding for disciplinary cases and present your findings at formal meetings, giving your valuable experience across a diverse and interesting caseload.

The post can be based at a negotiable location within Argyll and Bute, and remote or hybrid working options will be considered. We will work with the successful candidate to identify the most suitable arrangement. Some office-based working and occasional travel across the wider Argyll and Bute area will be required, including attendance at meetings and training at the Council Headquarters in Lochgilphead.

About you: You will previous experience of providing information and guidance through different communication methods, good knowledge of Employment Law and MS365. You will also have a CIPD in HR Management at a minimum of Level 3 and ideally at Level 5. You will have the ability to travel througout Argyll and Bute.

  • The salary shown is the full time equivalent salary, the actual salary will be paid pro rata for the hours worked.
