Teacher, Castlehill Primary Learning Centre (within Castlehill Primary School)

We are looking to recruit a teacher with specialist knowledge and experience of Additional Support Needs to work in this new facility at Castlehill Learning Centre in Campbeltown. You will work as part of a team to support primary children with severe and complex learning needs and/or complex medical/health needs. An important part of your role will involve planning and delivering an elaborated curriculum for children with a wide range of needs. This could include outdoor learning and developing life-skills in the local community. You will be expected to liaise with other teaching staff to provide the children based in the Learning Centre with the option of attending mainstream classes, as appropriate. Working with colleagues in other establishments and partner agencies will form an important part of the role. Access to specific training can be provided for the successful candidate if required.
