We are looking for a part time (2 days a week) Bikeability Co-ordinator, to ensure young people in Argyll and Bute have the opportunity to learn how to cycle safely.

This post is temporary until 30th June 2027 due to funding available from Cycling Scotland.

Bikeability Coordinators are responsible for recruiting, supporting and sustaining a network of volunteers, coaches, leaders and teachers who will in turn deliver Bikeability as an extracurricular activity in the wider community.

The successful candidate will ensure Bikeability coaches, leaders and volunteers receive relevant training opportunities and are familiar with health and safety standards. As well as sourcing additional funding opportunities to further enhance the Bikeability programme to support an agreed Bikeability Action Plan.

The salary shown is the full time equivalent salary, the actual salary will be paid pro rata for the hours worked.

This post requires Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) Membership in relation to working with children.
