Administrative Officer - fixed term until 26/06/2025
Broughton High School
Salary: £28,064 - £32,010 (pro-rata for part time)
Hours: 18 per week, 52 weeks
Wednesday and Thursday (08:00 to 16:00 with 1 hour unpaid break)
Friday (08:00 to 12:15 with 15 minutes unpaid break)
As a senior member of the business support team, you will have excellent organisational and time management skills supported by extensive relevant local authority or school experience. You will be flexible, well organised and have excellent interpersonal skills. Additionally, experience in the day-to-day management of a busy office-based team is essential. Impeccable administrative skills are required as is the ability to create, implement and maintain administrative systems to ensure the smooth running of our busy school office.
You will also work closely with the Business Manager and be involved in the daily monitoring and administration of financial activities. Experience working with financial systems and processes is desirable.
The post will work with the current Administration Officer on a job-share basis.
The successful candidate will be expected to manage and operate various computerised systems and have sound knowledge and experience in this area. A working knowledge of SEEMIS and other school-based systems would be an advantage as would the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
