Place

Business Support Administrator - Fixed term until 1/7/2024
Waverley Court

Salary: £22,185 - £24,590 per year
Hours: 36 per week

A service with a broad and varied remit, Family and Household Support (FHS) takes an innovative approach to responding to Anti-Social Behaviour as defined in the Antisocial Behaviour(Scotland) Act 2004. Sitting within the Housing and Homelessness  division of the council, at its heart, Family and Household Support is a preventative and early intervention service which seeks to address the root causes of Anti-Social Behaviour through responding to wider societal issues such as poverty, maximising household income, access to education and community support, offering a range of holistic supports, including Housing Support, Family Support and Mediation.

We are currently looking to recruit a Business Support Administrator to provide administrative support to the Edinburgh Community Safety and Justice Partnership as well as assist the wider work of the Housing and Homelessness division.

Good communication and numeracy skills are required and you should be able to establish good working relationships with all levels of staff and have proven organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload and use your own initiative. Well developed IT skills are essential although training will be given on specific software packages. You will have a commitment to delivering a high quality of customer service. A high level of flexibility is required due to the diversity of the division.

If you are already an employee of the City of Edinburgh Council, we are happy to accept applications for a secondment to this post but you must have the permission of your line Manager before you apply.

We're committed to creating a workplace culture where all our people feel valued, included and able to be their best at work, and we recognise the benefits that a diverse workforce with different values, beliefs, experience, and backgrounds brings to us as an organisation.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
