Chief Social Work Officer (CSWO) and Service Director, Performance, Quality and Improvement
Salary: £134,378 (Scottish JNC single point 44)
Hours: 36 per week

The Chief Social Work Officer is responsible to the Corporate Director for Children, Education & Communities, with an indirect reporting line to the Chief Executive and is responsible for ensuring that effective management system and controls are in place to deliver agreed service outputs to the required quality.
This statutory role provides professional governance and leadership for delivery of all council social work and social care services across the City of Edinburgh.
We are looking for an exceptional senior leader with significant knowledge and experience of leadership in Social Work as a registered social worker in a local authority setting, that can evidence delivering positive outcomes for children, young people and their families.
