Children, Education & Justice Services provide a wide range of services to children, young people and their families in Scotland’s capital city. Our focus is in on improving the quality and breadth of services we provide for our citizens, supporting them to live the best lives they can. To successfully deliver this we need great people on our team and we are now recruiting a self-motivated, organised, and enthusiastic individual to join our Planning and Commissioning Team.
As a Contracts Officer you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of contracts, working closely with strategic planning and commissioning colleagues and providers to develop, implement and monitor services. These roles require people with the creativity to help shape services, excellent interpersonal skills, and the work ethic and management skills to deliver effectively. You will oversee various contract arrangements including Frameworks and Service Level Agreements.
You will represent the organisation with suppliers and stakeholders, building professional commercial relationships, using your professional expertise you shall advise and support colleagues of all grades in relation to contract management and Scottish public sector procurement legislation.
This position is being offered as a secondment, please ensure you have your line managers permission before applying.
Successful candidate will be required to obtain a basic Disclosure Scotland certificate prior to start.
