Domestic Support Assistant
Queensferry Primary Early Learning and Childcare

Salary: £21,133 - £21,434 per year (pro-rata for part time and sessional)
Hours: 16 per week, 39 weeks sessional

This role will suit a positive and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in performing their duties to a high standard and contributing to quality service delivery. We need a team player who engages well with others and is flexible and adaptable to service needs.

Key duties are general housekeeping, deep cleaning tasks across our setting, along with some food serving and prep - you will need to be organised and work efficiently and safely within company policies seeking advice and guidance when necessary.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
