We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and motivated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Prestonfield Primary School and Nursery, a welcoming and inclusive setting located in the south-east of Edinburgh. Our small, friendly school prides itself on nurturing strong relationships with children, families and the wider community. Guided by our values - We are Kind, We are Responsible, We are Ambitious - we strive to create a positive environment where every child feels safe, respected and able to achieve their full potential.

Our nursery provides high-quality early learning and childcare for children aged 3-5 within a caring, play-based environment that supports curiosity, creativity and independence. The setting can accommodate up to 64 children and works closely with the primary stages to ensure a smooth and supportive transition into school life.

We are proud of our strong focus on partnership with families and our commitment to supporting the wellbeing and development of every child. Our staff team works collaboratively to create engaging learning experiences both indoors and outdoors, supporting children to develop confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of learning.
