- Supporting Bangholm's continued and sustained growth, including income generation via traded services and grant opportunities.
- Liaising with Council staff, service users and partners regarding Bangholm's facilities / spaces, resources, and programmes.
- Ad-hoc project co-ordination aligned to Grade 6, personal competency and Bangholm strategic priorities.
We are looking for someone who possesses the following attributes:
- Solution focused and adaptable.
- Positive and creative.
- IT skilled across a range software.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Proven numeracy skills.
- Reliable and highly organised.
- Recognises strengths and identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Committed to career-long professional learning.
The successful applicant will be required to regularly visit / work from locations across the City and occasionally beyond, including the Council's Benmore and Lagganlia Outdoor Centres. The role is predominantly indoor based. There is some working outdoors throughout the year in different environmental conditions. Suitable and sufficient PPE, induction and support are provided. The successful applicant will be required to work occasional weekends and evenings. The post may involve appropriate line management in the future. Flexibility with working days will be discussed at interview. The successful applicant will be line managed by the Sales and Operations Manager. Day to day working will be directed by the Bangholm Operations Manager (matrix management).
We hope you are excited by the opportunity to make a significant contribution to OL&AE in Edinburgh and beyond. Please ensure any application is relevant and specific to this advert and attached information. Generic and speculative applications will be rejected. Interviews are expected to take place in August.
