Salary: £50,287 - £60,187 per year
Hours: 36 per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join the City of Edinburgh Council’s Corporate Policy and Strategy Team, and to support the Council’s commitment to making Edinburgh a city that is diverse, welcoming and embraces all sections of society.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to take an active role in supporting the Council in driving forward its approach to equalities, diversity and inclusion, working across services, with our communities and our partners.

We are looking for a person who is outcome focused and has experience of supporting improvements in service design and delivery in a complex environment. You will be a great communicator with good political awareness and the vision to inspire services to achieve real change. Someone who can contribute and shape the Council’s goals and ambitions and who shares our core behaviours of integrity, respect and flexibility.

You will work as part of a team to develop, influence, and implement high profile strategies and policies across the full range of public sector activities. You will have a good understanding of the equalities agenda, together with a working knowledge of the relevant legislation.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
