Senior Executive Assistant - fixed term until 31/10/2025

Hours: 36 per week
Executive Services, within Customer and Digital Services, provides business services and administrative support to the Council’s Executive and Service Directors across all Council directorates.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as a Senior Executive Assistant. This post will provide support to the Executive Director of Corporate Services.
This will be hybrid role, with on-site work based at our Waverley Court office.
Applicants should have experience of:
- supporting Senior Managers
- dealing with competing demands and priorities
- dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information always ensuring discretion and confidentiality
- managing a political landscape
- leading and delivering projects
- planning and horizon scanning.
As the role will work in close partnership with colleagues across the Directorate, the ability to build trust, forge effective working relationships and develop a good working knowledge of the services the team supports is crucial. You will also be proactive in challenging current practices and identifying opportunities to do things in a better way.
This post requires a Basic Disclosure check.
The post will be based at Waverley Court; however, the role may require the successful candidate to work at any Council location. The role is subject to flexible working arrangements and hybrid working.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
