The working pattern for this post will be on a 4 on 4 off basis, which will be as followed:
Sunday – Thursday 1pm –12am, Friday and Saturday 2pm – 1am.
These posts have additional payments for variable working hours, night hours, supplements and weekend hours.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Street Enforcement Officers to undertake a variety of duties to improve the safety and quality of the street environment with a primary focus on enforcement by using delegated statutory functions. This will involve extensive communication and engagement with members of the public, businesses, other Council services and other stakeholders and may involve investigations and involvement in demanding and complex cases.
Applicants must have:
• Experience of working in an outcome driven and customer focussed environment.
• Ability to interpret policy, procedure and legislation relevant to the role and apply it to working practices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with colleagues at all levels, customers, community group, partners and elected members.
• Accuracy and attention to detail – the post holder is required to gather evidence and record comprehensive information in relation to investigations and attention to detail is essential to ensure this is carried out in an accurate manner.
• Flexibility and adaptability – the post holder should be flexible and be able to adapt to different situations and changes in order to meet service demands.
• Desirable UK Driving License

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
