Supervisory Assistant (PG)
Pentland Primary School

Salary: £25,322 - £25,623 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional)
Hours: 6.40 per week, 38 weeks sessional

Pentland Primary School are looking for 2 Supervisory Assistants to join the team, to supervise and support learners in the playground and dining hall. The hours will follow a similar pattern to the following:

Monday to Thursday 10:25-10:45 and 11:55-13:10, Friday 10:25-10:45

Pentland Primary School is located in the south west of the city and has a school roll of approximately 500 pupils plus 54 in the nursery.

The school has positive, supportive links with parents, the local community and other agencies enabling them to work in partnership.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
